Since assuming leadership in 2023, Andrea has guided the organization with a vision of expanding its impact through innovative programming and strategic community partnerships.

A lifelong equestrian, Andrea has been a boarder at Canyonside for more than 28 years and brings extensive experience across multiple disciplines, including American Saddlebreds, gaited Morgans, hunter/jumpers, and dressage. Her equine background also includes education and employment in a Quarter Horse and Appaloosa breeding program, as well as designing and leading youth equine camps.

Professionally, Andrea has built a successful career in commercial construction and property management, equipping her with the operational, financial, and leadership expertise she now brings to her nonprofit work. Under her direction, Canyonside has launched its Equine Assisted Learning program, which leverages the healing and developmental benefits of horses to serve individuals who might not otherwise have access to such transformative experiences.

Andrea is deeply committed to strengthening community connections, fostering youth development, and ensuring that Canyonside remains a vibrant, sustainable resource for generations to come.
